Our mission at The Sesame Seed is to provide you with the most deliciously unique tasting lunch experience possible. We have combined authentic Chinese cooking with the almighty American tradition of the sandwich. Our Chinese sandwiches are named after the world’s top kung fu stars: Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Chow Yun-Fat, Sammo Hung, and Jet Li. Each sandwich uses our fresh baked Chinese flat bread. In Chinese, the bread is called sao bing. The sao bings have a flaky exterior topped with black and white sesame seeds. Our top chef, Mei, has taken lessons from sao bing specialists located in Taipei, Taiwan to ensure the authenticity and taste of your sandwich. We hope you enjoy our food and service. Igor and Beckie are the owners and operators of Quiero Arepas mobile kitchen. Igor was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela where his memories of enjoying arepas late night after music gigs finally encouraged him to learn to make them for himself. Our goal is to recreate the Venezuelan experience as he remembers it. Confident in our abilities and the beauty of simple, clean and natural ingredients…QUIERO AREPAS was born. We are committed to using produce that comes from local farmers, local and all natural meats, cheese from local cheese makers, supporting fellow small business owners and hiring local/independent labor. Some folks have asked us what a crepe is. Well, here's our definition: It's a 14" round, batter shell that is grilled and then stuffed with sweet or savory goodness. It's folded American style, like a cone, so that you can eat and walk at the same time. Some people are better at that than others.
